Tonight I went to Ben Stein's movie "Expelled" and I decided to come home and start this political blog. I should be asleep, but the movie was so amazing that I can't go to bed without writing.
Because it's time that America WAKES UP!!!!
These "historic" times are truly historic. We're losing our freedoms like never before! And we're only going to lose more freedoms now that Obama, the most liberal senator in the U.S., is elected.
My religion is not the government. I don't want the government to solve any of my problems, like health care or my own particular mortgage crisis. Nor do I want FREE gas from my government. The government is supposed to keep me safe. And so our president-elect is WILLING to sit down with the president of Iran with no pre-conditions? The man who says the holocaust did not happen?
I am saddened to see the loss of the great America I once knew. The United States Air Force Academy ceremony that brought tears to my eyes, the words of Ronald Reagan, "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall," the optimism and determination to be the first country to land a man on the moon.... Where are you America?
Americans, WAKE UP!!!! We are losing our freedoms! Freedom is not FREE! If we take it for granted now, it will be gone.
